Use the following steps to load new or revised tune files into your EFILive tool. This is necessary before each flash.

1. Save the tune file(s) attached to your order email on your Desktop (files will end with .ctz or .coz).
2. Do NOT connect your AutoCal/V2 until step 2 has been completed and the EFI Live V8 Scan & Tune software has been successfully installed.
3. Download EFI Live V8 Software and install when the download has completed.
4. Install EFI Live V8 software once download process has completed.
5. Connect AutoCal/V2 to computer using supplied USB cable and wait a couple minutes for device drivers to install successfully.
6. Open the EFI Live V8 Explorer Program (icon will be on your Desktop).
7. On the “F3: Data Files” tab it should have an EFILive folder, Scan folder, Tune folder, and Read folder (just to the right of the multi-colored triangle at the bottom left of the window).
8. Now click on the ‘Tune Folder’.
9. If you have any old/unnecessary tune files, right click on them and delete.
10. Minimize the EFILive Explorer window so you can see the Desktop.
11. Locate the tune file(s) that you saved from your email (in step 1), right click on the file(s), and select ‘Copy’.
12. Open the EFILive Explorer software back up from the taskbar at the bottom, right click in the area to the right of the Tune folder, and select ‘Paste’.
13. Once the green progress bar finishes moving across the screen (may take a couple minutes), you may disconnect the AutoCal/V2 and flash the truck with the new file.
