Obtaining the PV_INFO File
The PV_INFO file contains vehicle-specific data needed for custom tunes.
Step 1Connect PV3 to Vehicle:
- Locate your vehicle’s diagnostic port (consult your vehicle’s manual or Dynojet support if unsure).
- Plug the PV3 into the diagnostic port.
- Turn the vehicle’s ignition/power switch ON (do not start the engine).
Step 2Retrieve PV_INFO File:
- Turn the ignition OFF and unplug the PV3 from the vehicle.
- Connect the PV3 to your computer via USB.
- Open File Explorer; the PV3 will appear as a removable drive (e.g., “POWERVISION”).
- Navigate to the PV_INFO folder and locate the PV_INFO.txt file.
- Copy this file to your computer (e.g., desktop) and send to PPEI via your support ticket.
